My base wedding rate is $2600. Various packages include a second shooter (yay for more moments!), and all packages include a preview within a week & an online gallery with unlimited high resolution downloads. What is required to book?

For weddings I require a signed contract and a 50% retainer upon booking to secure the date, with the balance due 2 weeks before the date.

How many photos will we get?

Depending on the package you book and if I have a second shooter, anywhere from 300-800 images.

What if I don’t like having my picture taken?

I’ve been there too! My documentary style will make it feel like you are hardly posing for photos, and I pride myself on being as unobtrusive as possible. This day is about you and the moments you want captured, so while I know what to look for, I love discussing before the day what you are comfortable with.

Do we meet you before the wedding?

I got into this business because I love people, so let’s be friends! Whether you have decided to book, or you want to discuss details before we seal the deal, I would love to meet in person. I am lucky enough to be invited into your big day so I want you to be comfortable with me before show time. I’m always up to chat at any of the local coffee shops or over drinks at a craft brewery in Lexington. Not around central KY? I’d love to schedule a phone call or Facetime session.

What is the delivery time?

For weddings and events you will get a preview within the week and the rest of the images will follow in 6-8 weeks. Portraits & Family photos deliver between 2-4 weeks depending on the package.

What kind of equipment do you use?

I shoot with my trusty Canon Mark IV and Canon R6. I always have several lenses (my favorite of all time is my 50mm f/1.2), and an on camera speedlight (flash). I also always have a back up camera and equipment just in case.

How do you deliver photos?

You will receive an online gallery link that will allow for high resolution downloads of all images. It will also give you the opportunity to make custom albums, calendars, and prints of your images. Let’s schedule a meeting where I can share some examples of previous wedding galleries!

Do you photograph anything other than weddings?

Yes! In addition to weddings, I photograph family portraits, senior photos, event photography, engagements, headshots, and business branding (just to name a few things). For other portrait sessions, roughly 15 images per half hour booked.

Before booking a wedding with me, let’s talk! I find a consultation call is incredibly helpful to determine which wedding package is best and to ensure we are a good match! Once booked, I hope we can meet in person for either a coffee, a chat, or a venue tour. Regardless, I’ll schedule a final call 4-6 weeks before the wedding to discuss final timelines & details for the day.
For portrait sessions, I do not require a meeting, but I am happy to schedule a call at any point before the session to discuss finer details.
Post-wedding or session, I immediately back up all RAW files to an external hard drive. Then I back them up again on a working external drive. From there, I save all culled images to the cloud and to a Lightroom catalog. I never delete an image from the original SD card until 1 month (minimum) after a gallery is delivered, and never delete images from the hard drives at any point.

For weddings and events, I send a preview within the week, and the entire gallery within 5-8 weeks, depending on the contract.
Portraits Sessions (family, headshots, etc) deliver within 2-4 weeks.

Yes! I have access to a gorgeous studio space in Lexington that is perfect for headshots, couples, and small families. With a variety of backdrop options and controlled lighting, these portraits sessions are available year-round.
